The Toolbox

You can’t recover from PTSD while you’re overloaded.

If you’re living with PTSD, you’re carrying a constant load—whether you realize it or not. Not just from the big things, but from everything.

A look that feels wrong. A tone that hits sideways. A room that suddenly feels unsafe for no clear reason. Your body reacts before your mind can catch up, and now you’re burning energy just trying to stay upright.

I haven’t even begun to talk the cable bill, rent/mortgage, the kids, the asshole neighbor, traffic…. How many times have there been when you either forgot lunch or couldn’t figure out what you wanted?

All your juice is going to making it through the day. There’s none left for healing. It’s that damn simple.

So let’s start freeing up some energy…I call it mental currency or margin…right now.
